Authors for Indies Day is an annual event held at independent bookstores all across Canada. The campaign goal is to raise awareness of indie bookstores and how important they are: to our communities, our reading lives, and our cultural well-being.


During the 2017 campaign, the focus in graphic design was to revamp the event’s brand while adhering to their pre-existing designs i.e. style guides that were previously created by Harper Collins. The new designs were made to feature in both print and online advertisements as well as social media platforms. Furthermore, themed designs were created to be easily accessed and repurposed by the participating bookstores across Canada.
